Who are the Developmental and Intellectual Disabled?

The term “developmentally or intellectually Disabled” generally refers to a condition that has been present since birth or early childhood which may include one or more of the following:

  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Developmentally Disabled
  • Down Syndrome
  • Epilepsy
  • Autism Spectrum
  • Cognitive / Intellectual Disability

SCYSAC’ welcomes anyone interested in participating

A support system of peers is usually formed in a short time by SCYSAC providing social activities where parents, family members, and caregivers of members volunteer and participate in the (almost) one-on-one ratio.

Who Runs SCYSAC?

Overall direction of the SCYSAC program is provided by a Committee of 8 Board Members, a Treasurer, and a Secretary, all of whom are Volunteers. These Volunteers include member of the Sun City Civitan Club, parents, siblings, caregivers, and interested persons from the community.

Who Directs SCYSAC?

There is no current Director of SCYSAC
